A company that can make a promise. 一間可以對客人作出承諾的公司。
Ivan C.K. Yeung is co-founder and creative director of YSD, the Hong Kong studio he started in January 2000 with his brother, Eddy Yeung. The name was Yeung's Design Interactive Limited. In April 2019 it became YSD HK Limited — 維思特香港有限公司 — so the work would be carried by the team, not only by the two founders.
Before that he had worked in accounting, and as an estate agent. In 1999 the market was quiet. He found himself looking at shop signs, and asked Eddy — then designing sites freelance — what should come next. A company could offer a client a commitment. The first job was HK$2,000. Some months there were four. They stayed.
Ivan C.K. Yeung 是 YSD 的聯合創辦人兼創作總監。2000 年 1 月，他與弟弟 Eddy Yeung 在香港創立這間工作室，原名 Yeung's Design Interactive Limited。2019 年 4 月起公司改稱維思特香港有限公司（YSD HK Limited）——工作由團隊承接，不再只靠兩位創辦人。
此前他做過會計，也做過地產代理。1999 年市況安靜，他看著店舖的標誌，問當時以自由身做網頁的 Eddy：下一步是什麼。他們要的是一間可以對客人作出承諾的公司。第一張單是二千元。有些月份只有四張。他們留下了。

2000
YSD opens. A company, so a client gets a promise — not a freelance maybe.YSD 開業。成立公司，是為了對客人作出承諾。
2003
Shops come online, and the systems behind the counter follow.網店開始，櫃檯後面的系統也跟著做。
2010
Mobile apps join the desk.手機應用成為桌上的工作。
2019
Renamed YSD HK Limited. The studio belongs to the team.更名維思特香港。工作室交給團隊。

What the studio is for. 這間工作室用來做什麼。
The medium changed. The brief did not: make a company clear, then make the thing people can use. 媒介一直在變。要做的事沒有變：先讓一間公司被看清楚，再做出人們用得到的東西。

Chambers, a young-entrepreneur circle, Seiwajyuku, and floorball. He was president of BNI Alpine from October 2025 to September 2026. For 2026–27 he is incoming president of the Rotary Club of Hong Kong City North. 商會、青年創業的圈子、盛和塾，還有軟式曲棍球。2025年10月至2026年9月，他擔任 BNI Alpine 主席。2026 至 27 年度，他是香港城北扶輪社後任社長。
